We had to work for this one. Long walk, but it was worth it.
Since I started shooting moonshots almost 2 years ago, I've been waiting/trying to get this shot - the Pyramid, North Tower and the Moon. I was just hoping to get them in the same frame, but had some serious good fortune tonight that they were all perfectly aligned. That's not going to happen for a few years again... Went out here pretty early and pretty well froze by the end, but I'm pretty stoked.

Was out on the Aquatic Park Pier waiting for the moon to rise over the top, when some rent-a-cop with anger issues decided to throw ALL 100 photographers off the pier. This ended up being about all I got...
Coit tower wasn't quite big enough to hide the moon, but almost...
After Trying for some full moon / coit tower shots, we stuck around and played with tail-light trails on the "Curviest Street in San Francisco" (which in truth isn't!)
Battling against wind and lots of fig nad high clouds, but the moon peeked its head out just at the right moment

Thought I'd give this another stab. was off by 1/2 degree vertically. I could have tried to run down the hill with my gear, but with all the thistle and ground squirrel holes, I thought better of that.
Boulder, CO. it was 9 degrees and I don't think my hands have fully recovered
After the mall-cop threw us off the pier, we were hanging around w/ nothing else to do, and the reflections from the sundry lights looked cool
